The office of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz seeks an experienced Digital Director and Press Assistant to handle a range of fast-paced media issues, and will report to the Communications Director. Duties will include working with local and national reporters; long-term planning; drafting e-newsletters, social media posts, press releases, op-eds and speeches. This position will be responsible for managing digital media accounts and producing video content. It requires excellent writing skills and an ability to work closely with legislative and district staff. This is a fast-paced work environment, and not an entry-level position. Prior work in another Congressional or Senate office with Florida ties, and graphic design capabilities, are a plus.
