Democratism

 

The term Democratism is used in two ways:

 

1. The ideology of the Democratic Party.

2. The ideology of the form of government known as a Republic.

 

Example:

 

A member of the Democratic Party (a Democrat) supports:

 

• Democratism (the ideology of the Democratic Party)

• Republicanism (the ideology of the system of government known as a Republic)

• Democratism (the ideology of the system of government known as Democracy)

  Americanism (the ideology of the system of government in the United States of America created by the U.S. Constitution)

 

A member of the Democratic Party (a Democrat) does not support:

 

• Republicanism (the ideology of the Republican Party)
